A moment of silence

I was able to spend a few quiet moments at the National War Memorial today, my second to last day in Ottawa and the day of Corporal Cirillo’s funeral in Hamilton. It was a very moving experience.
I am posting from my iPad. I hope the photos will publish.

Rest in Peace, Corporal Cirillo.

About Nita

I retired early and moved to a new community. I blog about my adventures as I explore a new lifestyle. I write about quilting, knitting and needlework, about learning to sew my own garments, adventures in the kitchen and in the garden, dancing, hiking, yoga...life is my playground!

Thanks for sharing these, Nita. It was certainly a sad, sad day in our country. And Shirley is right, there are not enough words always!

  2. Sometimes there are not enough words to express the feelings at this barbaric and senseless act.
