Blogger’s Quilt Festival: Large Quilt Category

079I am entering two quilts in the spring Bloggers Quilt Festival!

068This quilt was designed by me (simply meaning that I didn’t follow a pattern). It is a simple block repeat with borders. It is hand quilted. It is 68″x84″.

103I’m only entering for fun. A big shout-out and thank you to Amy at Amy’s Creative Side for organizing it! It’s a huge undertaking!

I love everything about htis quilt: the backstory (BTW, did Kelly get to take sole ownership of his quilt since he didn’t go away to school?), the R/W/B colors, the stars, the fabrics, the hand quilting just everything! And I like that Samson approves!

I like this one, too! Very homey – you couldn’t have found a better spot for photos!

The festival is so great – you see what everyone’s doing, you find new blogs that you’ll follow… All kinds of good.

  3. Both are really great entries Nita! Good Luck in the festival!
